HEAD COACH
Noah is in his fourth season as Head Coach for Waterford after spending 3 seasons as an Assistant Coach and 4 seasons as a Swimmer Coach. He has also previously coached for the Lexington Dolphins. During Noah's 7-year stint as a swimmer for the Waverunners, he won MOWSC High Point Runner-Up 3 times and was the 2018 Conference Champion in 50 Backstroke.
In addition to swimming for Waterford, Noah also swam for Highbridge Aquatics from 2012-2016 and Kentucky Aquatics from 2016-2018.
Beyond swimming, Noah works as the Lead UI/UX and Graphic Designer at Sky Systemz, located in Lexington, Kentucky.
ASSISTANT COACH *Green Group
Julia has been a part of the Waterford Waverunners Swim Team for the last 20 seasons. She was a swimmer for 13 seasons, a swimmer coach for three of them, and is now in her 7th season as an assistant coach.
When Julia is not on the pool deck, she works at Southside Elementary as a special education teacher. Her hobbies include pickleball and spending time with her cat, Oatmeal.
Julia is so excited about this season! Her favorite part of being a Waverunner is the opportunity to work with the best swimmers, parents, and coaches! Go Waverunners!!
ASSISTANT COACH *Green Group
Coach Lili is in her 3rd season as an assistant coach for Waterford after being a swimmer coach for one year. She swam for Waterford for two years and has been a part of the Man O' War Swim Conference for 12 years. She won multiple Kentucky State Championships as well as High Point in MOWSC 8 different years. She also medaled at Futures National Championship.
Lili has been a swimmer for 16 years in total and attended Lafayette High School. Currently, she swims DI for Rice University where she swims butterfly and sprint freestyle. She is studying finance.
Lili's favorite part of coaching is the family community, and she loves helping and watching the kids improve and have fun.
ASSISTANT COACH *Blue Group
This is Coach Nara's 4th season as an assistant coach for Waterford. She has been a part of Waterford for five years, one swimming and four coaching.
She swam for Kentucky Aquatics for 12 years and attended West Jessamine High School. She is a recent graduate from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in neuroscience; where she also competed on the swim team in sprint fly and free events. Coach Nara plans to take a gap year before applying to dental school.
Her favorite parts of coaching for Waterford include hanging with the kids and Conference weekend.
ASSISTANT COACH *Silver Group
Morgan is entering her 21st season as a Waverunner! She swam for Waterford for 14 years, was a swimmer coach for 3 seasons and is entering her 7th season as an assistant coach. She swam for the Lexington Dolphins for 10 years and then for Birmingham-Southern College. In college, she competed in the 100 & 200 butterfly and was a part of 4 Conference Championship titles.
She graduated in August of 2024 from the University of Kentucky with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and currently works as a pediatric physical therapist at Associates in Pediatric Therapy in Lexington.
Her favorite part of coaching is the family environment at Waterford that keeps kids coming back every year!
ASSISTANT COACH *White Group & Minis
Lauren has been a part of the Waterford Waverunners Swim Team for the last 11 seasons. She was a swimmer for 10 seasons, a swimmer coach for four of them, and is now starting her first season as the 6 and unders coach, as well as directing the Mini program.
During the school year, Lauren attends Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She will be a sophomore this Fall, majoring in Elementary Education!
Lauren’s favorite part of being a Waverunner is the community that she has found within the swim team, as well as smashing cupcakes into Coach Noah’s face at the banquet each year!
